2 boxes of halves, $200 dimes, $200 quarters

All skunks. Pickin's are still very slim around here. Supposed to have 2 more half boxes in tomorrow, but that bank has been very unreliable of late. Won't bother me at all if they don't come in, and in all reality I hope they don't. Was also going to pick up a couple of dime boxes tomorrow, but that seems pretty pointless as my last ~$3000 or so in dimes has produced 1 lone 1964, and other than the 2 or 3 boxes I got early this year, they have never produced for me (and they were nowhere near dream boxes). I think I'd be better off keeping the bankroll intact and hitting the road, and I may just do that early next week.

Now for the important question...which direction feels lucky? Anyone have a Magic 8-ball, Tarot cards, or a Ouija board handy?

Things are exactly the opposite up here in Iowa. Road Trips are skunks...Dimes are producing okay. Box halves are skunks though...almost like that everywhere the last couple months. Up here, there are suddenly a lot of people that are CRHing for profit, not for fun.

Remember that Ebayer that looks like he does CRHing? North Liberty, Iowa.. don't know where that is but that is where you should go. If you know where it is, you shall go. That Ebayer shouldn't broadcast where he's at. Hey just like in "Field of Dreams", if "you broadcast it, they will come".

Thanks for the info! It does dishearten me a bit, but I have been able to find silver on road trips with the right timing. I've got a buddy that got laid-off doing some hunting for me...going to have him try Large Dollars as well as halves for me and split the findings with him (my money, his time). Hope he finds something...

You never know.. why not try all the different banks in North Liberty and order some boxes? See what you come up with. Don't know if he's hoarding them before. All I can say is that he had A-LOT. I don't like to broadcast things like that and make it obvious. I think Ebay sellers who sell unsearched half dollars rolls are shooting themselves in the foot too because random people will think, "well why don't I just get some half dollar rolls from the bank?" ranther than buy them from an Ebayer. This just increases awareness and the finds are less. People just fail to look at the big picture.

Contrary to what so members think of me.. I do like to help as long as you're going to my own bank. LOL
