Found an old demolished homestead last night on Google maps. Pulled up the 1940 map to get an idea of the property as it stood. Couldn't date the property, but just like most in the area, probably mid/late 1800's. It was some rough hunting. Some areas had weeds as high as my knees. Pretty hard to swing in that stuff. I found myself hacking them away with my Digger when I could lock in on a good tone. Unfortunately where the front yard used to be, was 3 foot piles of dirt and mulch. Probably covering up the goodies. I even found myself hunting the packed stone driveway. Tough to even dig down 2 inches.

Unfortunately, no silver today. Managed to pull out 2 buttons, an old buckle, and a 1928 Wheat.

As for my next permission, I'm going to try for the property at the top left of the map. I noticed an 1870 home that is no longer standing.
