Ok first

Found this buckle thing last night in OLD neighborhood. It is brass or copper? It has a pat number and nickel plate on the back and it is INTACT!!!! The initial HFG are on the front.

Item two is a lead soldier without head...

Thanks

Re: 2 for 1

Sorry, ME22, but these old eyes of mine just aren't quite getting the job done today. Would you mind typing the patent number?

Re: 2 for 1

Interesting you focused on the ship at the bottom. I think the diridgible in the top right is more interesting. ;) Pretty limited time span. That might put it pre-Hindenburgh, 20's & 30's era.

Thats a nice Saint Christopher piece. Never seen one like that. The ways of travel are depicted on one i have also. Not sure about date. Mine is a cheaper made metal.

Re: 2 for 1

Yes the dirigible and the train and the plane? Were all cool too I just didn't have pictures of them to post.

I think we have a winner on the patent PBK. The number is on the piece in the patent drawing. THANKS

So it would be safe to assume 1929 to present on the buckle. A cool find!!!

No no name. This thing is pretty big, a bit bigger than the one in the eBay sale...

The toy soldier looks quite a bit like this Barclay Italian officer, c. 1935 or later.

Glad I could help!

Don't know about "awesome," though. Folks usually say "tiresome"! :D

I think the soldier pictured above is the actual soldier I have found.
