2 Headed Nickle 1946

I was going thru an old lot of coins when I came across this 2 headed 1946 nickle. Anyone ever hear of this? It's a strange find. I attached a photo of the 2 sides. By the way I can't take credit for digging this one. It's from my Moms coin cache. Sorry for the picrures being a bit fuzzy. Can't seem to get a good shot. Will try again.
