2 Hour Scouting Mission...

[CRUSADER]

Land-Mag & I spent 2 hours on a new farm. Land-mag had spotted some cropmarks & we wanted to check them out.
I walked out to roughly the centre of the site, turned my detector on, & my first dig was a scrappy Roman. So 'game on', I thought, however, it turn out to be the only one. But the tall Rape crop was in the way.

13th C Buckle
Roman Nail Cleaner
6th C Saxon Small-Long Brooch

This is an area we will return to after the harvest, I'm just glad we put another replacement on the board. New sites are getting hard to find.
