Beautiful day! Sixty degrees in February in Southwest Michigan! Had to get out!

Had a permission on a home that the owner states was 1930-1940s. Was in an older part of town so I felt it had good potential for older items. After only ten minutes I dug up parts of an oil lantern. So I felt that verified the property had a longer history.

The soil at this location was very sandy. So the coins were fairly well preserved. Love the '97. Just a bit of wear and a nice patina. The wheat cent was one of only 10 million minted.

Nice job on the Coppers. Indians are always a welcome sight under the coil.

That's funny! I just filled the 1912-D slot last week after 50 years of hunting!
