My friend Canslaw and I went out yesterday morning and had a great hunt. I hunted 3 different sites. Haven't had time to clean up all of the finds just yet. We have been trying to find a certain site here in Oregon that so far no one else has found either. They were racing horses at this site in the 1870's... Not sure we are on the exact site yet but are getting close. I found what looks like a part of a carriage horse racing cart? I also found and 1887 and an 1895 Indian cent there approx 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I found (2) more Indians at this same site (nails everywhere) 1882 & 1902. They are toasty but keepers. We hunted a 1900 built home, I then went on to an old farm house built approx 1920 (yellow car & misc) and then to a site that we nick named the "field of dreams" I am renaming the site of the Indian Cent finds " Indian Hill". It is among the oak trees on a hill....
