Ok... The Grand kids were riding the ATV around my property. They followed a utility easement to TN. Hwy 50 which is about 1/2 mile from me. Where they parked is about 100 ft. above the state road below. They found 2 old cement markers about 20 ft. apart standing out of the ground. Each marker is about 18"-24" above the ground now. Both are about 6" squared. Each marker has "H.Y." above and below it is "R.W.". Above the H.Y. is an arrow. Each markers arrow points to each other as mounted 20' apart.
Each marker has identical markings on 1 side next to the other (not opposite sides). Any idea of age or meaning? Maybe they were markers put in place before the ridge top was cut to make room for the Hwy below....? I wonder if their old or worth anything? Anybody know...? Thanks, Brad
