Got out today with my buddy Rick, (you can check out his nice finds here; http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/351540-snake-buckle-lc-silver.html ) We hunted a freinds farm that has been in his family since 1760. Most of the beautiful farm land has been sold off over the years except for around 20 acres. Of the 2 fields left we found one more productive then the other so we concentrated or efforts to this field. I managed to get up 2 silvers, a 1953 dime and a 5 cent piece (fishscale) that I can't make out the date on. Also got 2 coppers and a musket ball as well as a tree wedge (I think) and some other do-dads.

Nice finds Zodiacdiverdave!

From the land of the Bluenose.....nice scoff on the fishscale. Glad the spot panned out for you. If that fs was a 1921....it would be a heart stopper me bouy!

Anytime you come home with silver it was a successful hunt. Nice going Dave!

Sounds like you had a fun day and got to bring home some silver. Way to go.

Hey Dave, funny I can actually see that fish scale better in your pic. than I could in my hand, I can quite clearly see GEO V bust, so that narrows it way down.

Hope there are more silvers in your VERY near future.
