Hi all,
Got out and found the sun today  Went to the Trash pit, junkyard, Sargon Pit, whatever ... and had an awesome hunt. First 3.5 hours great. Last hour lost finding my way back to my car. Anyway, I managed 7 Wheats: '09 (no VDB), 19, 21, 31-d, 41-s, 44, 44; I stumbled upon a hot spot that had a V and a Buffalo in the Same hole, Found 3 wheats in the general vicinity and another V!. Then I was really pounding the spot, thinking that if I found V's there could be Barbers! I hit hard, got a dime signal. A dark looking thing came out and was angry cuz I thought it was another wheat, until a saw the glint of the reverse -- merc (a really Tarnished one)
Nicks are (No date V (I think it may be 1894, but so far gone hard to tell anything), 1906 V nick, 1920-d buffalo. The dime is a 1944.

Also pulled a pin (with fake diamonds, looks really old.) From my V-grove, I pulled an old looking hair beret.

Any guess as to the date of the hairpin?

Happy hunting all, thanks for looking

Not a bad haul there bud! Next time we go out, I think it should be back to where I'm comfortable and close to home. Probably do better than we did today.
