2 Walkers/ 1 Merc/ 2 Wheats found today

Hello everybody.

Hunted the woods at my park today, and found some nice silver in the picker

bushes. I've eye'd this spot in the past but was intimidated by the

​

picker bushes. But seeing how it was 26 degrees out and I had several

​

layers of clothes on I decided to give it a go.

Obviously you found some soft dirt. Went out last weekend in the woods and it was like cement.

Hmmmm, if I thought I could get that kind of schwag out of pricker bushes I'd hit it in the dead of August with a wife beater and Speedo. That's some collection. Seems like there might be more. Good luck and thanks for sharing.

mainer- thats what I'm gonna do, look for spots with lots of pickers.

mcmich- yeah, I've run into some solidly frozen ground in the woods, some spots very diggable

and where I was hunting today the first 2 inches of ground was kinda frozen.
