2 weekend Construction site hunt !!!

For the last 2 weekends I had permissiom to hunt a HUGE area that was a city block of homes from the 20's. I had to move quick for per agreement I could only hunt 4 hours a day (Sat & Sundays) im sure I left alot behind but my goal was to cover the entire area in which I did in a total of 16 hours, as I speak it is already coverd in asphalt. Sad very sad. Did come up with a large variety of finds not a whole lot of silver but enough to make me happy. Have alot not shown still cleaning but thought I better post before a new hunt weekend.

I hear ya, guess I should feel lucky to have got in at all. Job foreman was pretty cool allowing me in his time schedule. Gave me gate lock combo was allowed to start 2 hours b4 they showed up and the other 2 away from the area they were grading, worked out but know I missed deep stuff from rushing. Did give the foreman a buff I found and another merc for allowing me in. He didn't think I would find anything said he was glad I proved him wrong.

I live in a small city, and most of the construction and demo people i've encountered are real gracious to me and my friends. Get to know as many as those people, because they can give you good tips on future job sites to hunt on

Wow Ray, they are such great finds, I can't believe how that made me feel that they paved that spot, makes me sad to think of all the cool stuff that will be lost for years to come.
I love that Union Pacific token, by far my favorite next to the Golden Nugget. I worked on the original Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, it ended up changing hand a couple times, first the hilton, then "the Don" (Trump) bought it I think. Back when we were doing the Nugget in AC we had a clause in our contract that the contractor had to buy at least one case of beer a day for the gang! Things were allot different in those days, could you imagine an insurance company insuring a contractor knowing that was in the contract!

They are all, everyone of them great SAVES! way to go Ray, I love it.

Hello rayrayvegas. Now that is my kinda site with some fantastic finds. I realy enjoy diggin' stuff with writing on it and you got a bunch there. Have fun cleaning and researching it.

Thanks Ben, I have been very lucky this year. Right places right time but alot of my finds I have are thanks to my Atpro. Never leave home without it.
