so i made a stop at the antuiqe shop today... spent less then $300 for all of this good stuff.. 20 old hammerd coins for 85 bucks help ID please. and a few newer silver... best of digs to all MR TUFF

Looks like your Roman coins have been in a tumbler(over cleaned)...shame really, might have been some nice ones there :)

yes they are worn bad. lil finger rub was enough to sorta shine up the coins to make out details.( hope that was not a bad thing ) still a rare find here even at a coin shop.. 1st time ever to see old coins like that 4 sale in a shop only paid $ 4.00 each U.S. but i like them. hope to get a few more IDs with some luck.. thanks for everyones help MR TUFF

agreed, all common reverse types & badly over cleaned. I give away better conditioned coins, but as long as your happy with what you paid, thats all that matters. Your the judge of value :icon_thumright:
10 for $4 is more there ebay value, but thats with my UK eyes.

yes all roman coins are over cleaned and since they are common change money from years 350 to 400 with no patina..can get much better and with patina for a buck.. i sell them regularly for such price.
