2001 P, Halves, Have those not been released?

Found one the other day, the only one so far. Once heard they were not released to public. Anyone know for sure?

Not really worth keeping as you can get them for $130.95 for a 200 coin bag. Thats $0.65475 per coin for BU coins.

Now if they were to decide to quit selling them and melt them down, then the surviving ones might be worth something.
