I posted a road rash coin last time and I really hope this isn't another one. Jus dots and even some letters that don't belong. 20191015_000916.webp20191015_000932.webpCM191015-002122005.webpCM191015-002501008.webp

I am only seeing damage and zinc blisters. Can you be specific on where you se the letters?

Plus, please take the coin out of the holder when taking the images so the glare doesn't interfere with any details.

Isn't it a letter D on Abe Lincoln's jacket near his neck

No, but you do have great imaginative capability. For those who need an interpretation, you are seeing what you want to see. All I see, and I have had interest in coins for over 45years, is damage and plating blisters.

Time for more coffee.

No, no D. There is enough damage on that one that some of the hits are bound to resemble something!

I can see the area you are talking about at the very back of Abe's neck but without better images, there is no way for me to tell. I would tend to think plating blisters as well, without better pics. They become too pixelated when I try to enlarge them.

Thanks for the continual information. I'm starting to get the hang of it now
