2005 Kennedy Halfs

Got a box yesterday that had a large amount of 2005D Kennedy Halfs. Was this year's coin placed in regular circulation? I also got two 2007D's but no other years later than 2001.

No, those were not released for general circulation. Somebody must have bought a bag from the mint, picked out the nicest ones, and then dumped the rest.

hello, the halfs from 2002 and later are all not intended(issued) for circulation, nickname, NIFC. I have gotten so many over the last year i decided i would make a roll for each yr/mint and thats it, otherwise i would have to invest $ to keep all i get. take care

My last box alone had 12 of the NIFC coins in it. That was rare for me. Ron
