2011 dollar coins with red stripes

I cant get a good picture of this, but it looks like the same red that is on the paper dollars... is this normal on these coins?

it is hard to see the red color, but here..

I see small hash marks (not in red) below the word "of". Are they 'red stripes' you refer to?

yes. they are smooth, so not scratches, and when you look at them, they are red like the fibers in the paper money

Can only guess that it's either part of the copper core showing through or PMD or ?
