Limited windows of oppurtunity so far this year but I have been able to put a few hours in. Snow , sleet , rain have made for some good field / creek bank conditions lately.

It's a local chert type that can resemble jasper. Usually brown and tan in color, can be kind of cherty or high grade and semi translucent in some cases. Thanks man.

I think it probably is a small Pinetree or Charleston ( local name ), the flaking / notching / thinness seem to be a match. Thanks for the warm welcome back.
