Putting some of my finds on loan at the local me as museum today, including my colonial sundial, old bottles made in my town in the 1800's, perhaps my silver monogrammed shoe buckle, a couple old spigots, and maybe a few other things. Anyway, while going through my artifacts I decided to see my totals and was impressed.

Here are the August 2nd 2014 totals I took last year...

5 large coppers
Around 19 old buttons
8 musketballs
3 shoe buckle parts.

Now here are my totals now (I stopped updating my musketball totals and am lazy on my button totals in my signiture)

Any ways right now, between last year and this year I'm at...

16 large coppers
38 (maybe more) musketballs.
65 1720's-1850's buttons.
2 late 1800's/early 1900's buttons
13 colonial knee/shoe buckles.

Now just for the fun of it my 2013 totals.

0 1800's or older coins
1 button
1 musket ball
0 buckles

Will get photos later.

Very impressive. Especially the button count.
Peace ✌

That is such an awesome thing to do! Sharing with everyone thru the museum!
Such a nice collection! WTG! Awesome way to give back to the community.
A lot of people have never seen actual artifacts, just pictures.

Thanks, I put the sundial, hundred year old dog licences from my town, WWI Dog Tags (He researched them an gave me an entire article on the man who owned them and his regiment, including photos of him taken in 1917 with the dog tags on!), two colonial spigots, and a bottle from my town. I did not donate them but loan them. He told me that for the publicity of the museum and artifacts he wants the newspaper to interview me on my hobby and artifacts. My finds will be going on display in a new part of the museum in the town hall for brand new acquisitions in a special display case.
