Metal Detecting

My first year metal detecting! $27 in quarters, $14 in dimes, 38 nickels, 345 pennies, 13 wheat pennies, 3 Mercury dimes, 1 silver Roosevelt dime, 1 war nickel, a really cool brass lock plate and some miscellaneous pieces of silver and gold.

All of this was found at a local park built in the 1930s. The deepest find was about 6". My thinking is there must be older coins deeper and my BH Sharp Shooter can't see it.
I want to upgrade to an AT Pro this year. Should I be looking at any other detectors in the same price range as the AT Pro? I am mostly interested in old coins but I also go camping in the Gold Country a lot. Water proof is a big plus for me because when it rains nobody goes to the park and I like the rain...

Thank you to the moderator who moves this post to the right place.

Looks like you did pretty good. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, pretty good year is right. Far better than my first. I like the lock thingy too, I found a curly cue item from a chandelier or lamp of some sort, I think. I cleaned it, painted it gold, and it's been a family Christmas tree ornament/heirloom since.
