Hey guys so I got skunked today on my dime hunt. Out of the $250 box $210 of them show either 2015 D on one side, both sides or have backs that resemble the 2015 D shine. Thoughts on what I should do with them? Is there any major error coins in the 2015 D's? I went through the rolls that did not show 2015 or were worn and $35 of them were 2015D.

My advice would be to look for errors. Cuds, cracks, and other errors could easily outshine the value of silver from the average box of dimes. If you need to learn more about errors, there are dozens of websites available in addition to the many guides and handbooks. I will admit that dimes are hard on my eyes, but errors are errors and there is a market for each of them.

Time for coffee.
Enjoy

I really wasn't able to find any sites that had a list of what errors I should look for.

Hey Holt,
Like galenrog mentioned, there is always the possibility of find a nice cud, die crack ,maybe even a rotated die error. There is also the possibility of someone breaking up a proof set. I would still look through them since I have a bank near me that still has a coin machine where I can dump coins and not have to re-roll them. I could see where if you had to re-roll them, then maybe not worth your time; but, just like everything else with our hobby...you need to look in order to find :)

Best of luck
