Kind of reminds me of the "black hills gold" designs, are you sure it's copper? (My wife would say that's a keeper, and take it from me.)

Pretty sure. Was very corroded. I had to use ketchup to get the gunk off.

Ya make sure you check that, I found a gold/copper pendant onetime reading Penny very deep for a penny!
You can usually tell the composition of an item by the reading you get, but always check it. Life is full of surprises!

very nice ring, I have found two that were silver plated copper or at least that was what they looked like, the plating was pretty much gone on both.
