22 No D.webp She ain't pretty, but she finishes off a 57 year old quest...........a complete collection of Lincoln wheat cents!

She ain't gotta be pretty, just real! Congrats!

Have it slabbed!

Congratulations on the completion of your wheat collection. I have a lot of wheats and have been saving pre 1933 ones. A good hand full, but no 1922's.

Not yet. If none of the grands or great grands get interested in this hobby (and Lord knows I've been trying to create a spark in them), I may consider it in the future.

Good job! Large cents next?:happysmiley: Gary

Well Gary, my wife asked me a similar question, "What's next?" I'd like to just enjoy this for a minute or two. The closer we get to the spring PAN show in May, the clearer the goal will become.............

Thanks, NY! I sold off 5,000 a few years ago (common dates), but seem to have reacquired them........and then some!!

Congrats CHIZZY on your quest for completing the Lincoln set, a long long time in coming.

Congratulations on completing your quest. I should be so lucky.
Were these all found bank roll hunting? Or did you have to acquire a couple at shows?

Thanks, Dozer! Sure looks good opening up that Dansco book and not seeing any holes!!

Thank you, Pete. I was fortunate enough to find all but 3 in pocket change over the years. I had to spend some of my dirt fishin' money on the '14D (2 years ago from a local coin shop), the '09 VDB S (last spring at the PAN show) and this '22 no D (from the PA CONECA rep). So, these last 3 were purchased with other peoples' money!! :icon_thumleft::icon_thumright:

Thanks Chizzy and congrats again.
Always better with OPM!
