I got $25 in pennies again from a bank. Strange thing though, instead of giving me a box of pennies, one of the tellers started piling them out of a drawer at her desk, then put it all in a cloth bag. I told her, this bag should have a big dollar sign on it. I later determined it should perhaps have a big cent sign on it instead, but whatever! :) My finds as follows:

Misc.:
One clad dime
Canadian 1975 penny
One clad penny that appears to be zinc/silver/steel/something plated or something...not sure. Is there any inherent value to this or should I discard it with the rest of the rejects?

Wheats:
1957D
1956
1954D
1951D
1945
1942
1941
1928!

That's my first wheat from the twenties! I have a couple from the thirties and a couple from the teens, but didn't have any in the 20s. If anyone can give me any information on the plated penny, I would appreciate it. I'm posting it also in the Coins section. Thanks :)

Looks like you've got a penny that's missing its copper plating. From its rough look I'd guess it was deliberately done after it left the Mint, but those contact marks could be from how easily the exposed zinc core gets dinged up from circulation. Have a coin shop look at it. It's definitely a keeper!
