2500 vs. 1350 depth

The true all metal mode in the GTI 2500 gets a lot more depth then the 1350 (which doesn't have a true all metal mode) coil size comparison with same coils. The machines by Garrett which have a true all metal mode are the Scorpion, the Master Hunter CX and the Garrett 2500. The Garrett Infinium gets even more depth then the true all metal mode detectors, but it's is a different animal all together.

thank you... us NC DIRTY DIGGERS are headed out Thursday for La. for some detecting and was woundering which detector to take the 1350 with 10 by 14 DD or the 2500 with 12 1/5 imaging coil you dont wanna miss anything HH

If you are in fairly low mineralization, are looking for targets in the above 8" and are at or about coin sized, take the 2500 with 12 1/5 imaging coil. That way you can leave behind some of the junk. If, on the other hand, you are just relic hunting....digging all targets in medium to heavy mineralization type soil, take the 1350 with 10 by 14 DD .
