Hello all!
Today I got to crack open my second box of nickels! The first 25-30 rolls were fairly pitiful, with only two nickels being pre-1959. As the box progressed, I steadily began to uncover more older Jeffersons (including a few hole-fillers for my album). However, my luck greatly changed with about seven rolls left...

What a beautiful piece of history! That's my oldest nickel found by far! While I still haven't found any war nickels in my boxes, I won't complain considering my first box had a Buffalo and my second has now given me a Liberty Nickel. That's one way to jump start your day! :)

Thanks for reading and happy hunting!

Nice find - good detail too.
Too bad it's not an "S".

That's a nice looking coin! The usual beginner's luck. Don't expect that to happen very often.

Oh I don't. The law of averages are going to be coming soon. Still, I'm going to enjoy it while I can!

Congratulations on your nice nickel find and hope you get many more!!

Amazing find, I have yet to find a V-nickel. HH, Zach.

Thats a really nice looking V nickel. The one I found was much more worn especially on the reverse.

I found a few this year in the wet sand during low tides, but none as beautiful as that one.
Crazy that's still circulating

a 1912 in that condition XF to AU is at least $30, maybe add a few more tens to that. SUPER FIND!!

That v-nickel is in better condition than most of the old Jeffersons, amazing!!!

Too bad it's not a 1913, with only 6 known to exist, you could get several mil $ & then some.
