Same deal as yesterday overcast and cloudy. Just enjoying some time down at the beach working the dry sand. I only saw a piece of this chain sticking out of the sand. When I passed my DF over it it didn't make a sound???
So I kicked at it and this big chain bounced out. Still don't understand why the machine wouldn't pick it up? I thought it might be fake/plastic 3D made or ??? But it was heavy had to be metal.

When I got home ran my DFX and Garrett Pin Pointer over it and they both sounded off. It passed the scratch and acid test. Weighs in a little shy of 75g.

It's out there...summer's here!

Now that's when Silver counts!! Wow!!..:notworthy:

Congrats on the chain bud! Is it marked 925? I would check it with a neodymium magnet just to make sure its not stainless steel. :occasion14:

That dry sand is being good to you...super find...keep it going.

Dang! That is one heck of a silver score! Great job on the recovery.

Very nice find. Thanks for the pics!

Nice Chain! Worth kicking up some sand. Figure out why the DF didn't sound off? Good Luck!

Looks like it could be stainless steel...
