Not gold but stainless steel

*************Man, apologies to all BUT I took it to the local jewelery store and they say it's stainless not gold! Damn, gonna have to learn ho to use my test kit better but I felt SURE it was after the tests I did on it.....******************************************* ************************************************** ************************************************** ***************************.
Went back out to the same area as the day before where I found the 3 gold rings hoping for some sort of repeat performance but it was not to be. I ran into Low Tide Tim, Denny and Michael from St Augustine Fla (he came up to loot our beaches but beware!....we may come down there in force so be ready!) out there but nobody else was having any luck either. We BS'd for 30 mins or so but the tide was changing and we had to get a move on! I checked out the same area as yesterday but only got a bit of clad and some sinkers. The other guys had moved up the beach a ways so I hopped in the car and pushed up a little further still. The next beach promised to be not-so-great as there was a BUNCH of sand put on it this year so I was hoping for maybe a fresh drop or something that may have been churned up in the last storms. It was rough going but I finally found the ring you see here in the pictures.
At first I thought it was a fresh drop and silver, no tarnish on it, but after looking a it again and on the way home I thought MAYBE it could be platinum or gold but wasn't sure. First thing, as soon as I returned to the house, I pulled out the test kit and had a go at it. Looked for and could find NO makings on it at all and it was REALLY scratched and worn down on the inside so any marks that might have been there were long gone. After doing several tests, and confirming with some you tube videos (hadn't tested for white gold before), I found out that it WAS in fact GOLD and 18k White Gold to boot! Pretty psyched! 2 days in a row for gold, I hoping the hot streak continues but I'm also a realist! Just finding anything is cool enough but finding GOLD...well......that is something else isn't it!
Enjoy the picts and thanks for looking.
