Okay finally got done with another day of plowed field hunting. Took my 15 year old and found out he hated it. He followed me and found nothing so got in front of me and I still found them where he had been. Needless to say he won't go with me again, we only quit because he was miserable:laughing7: Anyway, I built a tray to do some creek arrowhead hunting on the gravel bars when the snakes disappear. Thanks for looking and if you can identify any let me know.....any input appreciated. Oh and check out the "knife" that was found in the field too. Its metal and I will try to clean it up. Don't know the age but it was pretty cool too!

Looks like you could have a couple Calf Creeks in that bunch. The large one in the bottom row center and the white one at around 2 o'clock both look like exhausted Calf Creeks.

I am unfamiliar with what calf creeks are. could you elaborate?

I would have to agree after reading that info. Thanks, I am new to arrowhead hunting and am learning as quickly as possible. These were all found in northeastern Oklahoma from a known Indian camp site. The owner of the land said his research makes him think 3-5,000 years ago.

That is a nice couple of days finds, I would say!

Dang! That site could produce some really nice stuff for you. i can hardly wait to see the first complete smoker you pull out of there.

I like the nicest one in the lower middle of your picture, is it in perfect condition, just resharpened to that shape (hard to tell in the picture), but I like the way they look when almost exhausted and just imagine what it would of looked like in the beginning!

It is just broke off that one side as far as I can tell. Thanks for looking
