On the way back from visiting a place yesterday, I stopped and did some quick little metal detecting at an old 2nd Seminole War Fort site that also had an old homestead there as well. And this was an old community to begin with, so never sure what finds may possibly be 2nd Seminole War related.

But, some intriguing items like the door hinge looking thing that seemed to be really "locked down" into something. The round item is interesting to me too and doesn't appear to come from a 1920's era homestead to me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! And I am lucky to be alive after this one, snake central! (which to my surprise, NO 2nd Seminole War US Soldier was listed as having died from a snake bite, however, one was listed as "hiccups" being the cause of death, I kid you NOT)

Thanks for the replies guys. Ugh, I just want to find ONE metal item that is confirmed 2nd Seminole War and especially a musket ball (I've yet to find a single one). Native American stuff I can find with ease and some amazing finds, but no luck on a passion thus far. So, this looks like more "modern" crap based on searches of the two items.
