Minelab Safari
I just got my new Minelab Safari this week and decided to try it out at a local elementary school that has been used since the 1930's. I stayed around the football field, which I thought would have been one of the older places. This is all I found, (oldest coin was a 1964 nickel) but it was a lot of fun. I have not been MD'ing since I was very young. I did find $1.12 in change, so a few hundred more trips back there and I should have this baby paid for!! :icon_jokercolor:!! I had it set on the factory preset for "Coin" and left it there. With enough practice and hopefully finding more places to go, I should start finding some "good" items.

Congrats on getting out and finding a few goodies!! As long as you had fun!!

Nothing wrong with those finds, especially on the first time out.

hey buddy what is that other item?why don't you post it on (what is it)?
good finds,JR

The object in the top picture is a charm, that looks like a sheep and his shepard. There are no markings on the back but I doubt it is that old since the chrome has not rusted off of it. Well, I am quessing that it is chrome plated.

Nice finds......congrats

Happy Hunting,

Dugholes
