I'll preface by saying, I think they're ancient. We bought a dresser at an auction this weekend, and these 3 coins were under the paper lining someone had put in the bottom of the drawers. I think they were in the drawer, and at some point slid under the paper lining. Anyone have any ideas?
Top - measures approx. 20mm in diameter & weighs 1.0 grams
Bottom Left - measures approx. 18mm in diameter & weighs 1.6 grams
Bottom Right - measures approx. 16mm in diameter & weighs .4 grams
Thanks in advance!

Bottom left is a quattrino Bologna can't make out date but could be 1,600's. No expert. Google "BONO NIA DOCET", lots of examples.

The coin on top looks like silver........all of the coins look corroded, and maybe from a shipwreck if the dates match.

They look hammered. (Fri or Sat night?:occasion14:)

But really, hammered and maybe bronze. I do not know anything about these type of coins but they look hammered and European.

Check out this Medieval hammered coins LINK .

It has lots of info.
I just did a quick Google search "hammered coins identification" .
Hope this helps.

Cool surprise find! :occasion14:
