Went hunting for a couple of hours each of the three days this weekend at our local park and high school. Not anything super outstanding, but I did manage 3 silvers. A 1952-D quarter at the high school was a complete surprise. I've hunted this school year after year and must have come within inches of this quarter no telling how many times. Turned up a 1945 Merc at the park and a silver ring that has a black onyx stone. Clad finds were 16 quarters, 5 dimes, 4 nickels, and 24 pennies for a total of $4.94. Also found a token from Sonic drive in that's good for a free medium cherry limeade. It's made just like a casino poker chip.... heavy duty and has some sort of metal inside. It was a surface find. I like finding tokens, so I can't make up my mind to keep it or get the free drink.
