Found 2 wheat pennies while coin roll hunting. 1941 and 1935.

I also found this on a 2013 p nickel. Which leads to a question.

Why is there a rainbow above Monticello on this 2013 p nickel?

Coins can discolor for many reasons heat, oils, water ect.

that's actually not what I was asking. I was asking about the streaks above the building on the back of the nickel. They're definitely not normal. However, they are part of the coin also. I'm just curious.

The coin is scratched from the mechanics of a machine like a coin counter or vending machine.

because some where over the rainbow, skies are blue

Nice older coppers! :occasion14:

Nice Wheat pennies. I agree, your rainbow is just some sort of damage from a vending machine ( like bubblegum where you have to spin the handle to get your gum out).

Nice!!! Congrats!!!
