I got out for 3 hours yesterday, I was beat up pretty good by the surf. I did manage to find a very old pewter button that looks like it was silver plated. I also got a copper rod that looks like it was a cleaning rod for a pistol, it is tapered like a screw driver on one end and has a loop on the other.
I think the screwdriver end is for tightening the flint into the hammer on a flintlock.. 2 more pounds of sinkers,2 fishing lures and a lag bolt but the threads are very,very aggressive,. I've never seen one like it before. also I got a brass knob that attached to a rod with a pin, again I've never seen one like it before.
