Hey all............I literally worked for three hours today in an area that was no larger than 20 yards square!! Signals all over the place....mostly iron and nails that made me stop and take notice....BUT.....patience paid off again today!!!!
I didn't have near as much cash in my bag as Jeff today but I did match his wheat total with 5. I had a 1909,1910,1913,1913 and 1944, all actually in pretty nice shape."
My first decent find of the day was this 1892 Indian Head cent.....NO....I didn't scratch it like that!! This cent was bent in half when I found it....so I did a little "fixin" when I got home!!

My second goody of the day came out at only about 3" deep, this time a well beat 1888 Indian Head cent......but still an Indian!!

And, after Jeff and I kept saying "There has to be silver here"............just before we quit I found this 1926 Merc at about 6"!!

Thanks for lookin!!
