3 Hunts, 12 silvers, 6 IH's + Silver ring
Well, I haven't been able to post after my last couple of hunts due to my mom going to Poland and taking my "easy" to use camera. So I just borrowed my dads Sony cyber-shot and here is the pics of my last 3 hunts from last Wed., Fri., and a 2 hr hunt today.
The first pic is of all the finds (- the 1865 & wheaties)...Over 30 wheaties found as well.
I've been hunting areas that are REALLY trashy lately, and after consulting with another Fine MD'er here on T-net......Kimsdad......I went back to the area where I found my first seated this year, and I started finding wheatie after wheatie, along with 7 silvers. The silvers out of this spot include: '45 &'53 SWQ, '44-d War nickel, '17-3, '41, & '43 Mercs, & '54-d Roosie. I also found a pocket spill which included around 20 quarters, 10 dimes, and a bunch of pennies......I also found part of an old toy train next to it, so maybe it was some kids time capsule...

The second spot I discovered yielded a '08 Barber dime, '44 Merc, and the 1865 IH...My OLDEST COIN.
Must wait until next spring to hit this spot, as I think it may be a virgin spot, but is very overgrown with undergrowth at the time.
The third spot is a new spot as well. I hunted it for a couple of hours today in between the rain. Nice thing is that it's right down the street from my apt. It yielded: mint '41 Merc, '58-d & 64 Roosies, '02, '03, '04, '06, & '07 IH's and the big mens Sterling .925 ring. I also found a "HILL SUSPENDER" which has a patent date on the back of it of " 2 1890 " I hope I can find another seated out of this spot. Nice knowing that some of these new spots are producing, and I can't wait until the spring to hit these spots when the undergrowth is gone!
I hope you guys enjoy the pics, and I look forward to hunting with many of you in the future.
Thanks Neil for "inspiring" me and making me become a true "Believer"
