This one is for @cannonballguy or any other artillery fans. I saw this 3 inch bolt in the Chester County PA Historical Society museum. They say it was a Civil War era proofing round for the 3 inch Ordinance rifle (Griffey Gun), which was manufactured here in Phoenixville. I have never seen one of these before and was wondering if anyone knew more about it.

My first thought was that those lead plugs look like they would fly off as soon as it left the barrel. If I had to guess, I would say this is post CW.
