Im definitely on a hot spot. Theses three mercs all found between 5-8 inches make 13 for the footprint Ive been on. This particular field has also given me 4 ND buffalo nickels. Silver FTY #6

Very nice! The first merc I ever dug was right after I got my MXT. It was on the playground of a public school where I attended the 2nd grade many, many, many moons ago. It was in the middle of a baseball diamond about 6-7 inches deep. I still hit that place from time to time.
