Detector(s) used
Whites Eagle Spectrum, Compass X-100, Whites Beach Hunter ID, 2 Whites Spectrum XLT's
I have a Compass X-100 that I bought new about 24 years ago. These are my finds for the last 3 weeks going out a few hours a day hunting at 3 neighborhood parks and 1 high school. There is a little over $60.00 in change. I just bought a Whites Spectrum XLT and waiting for it to arrive so I can move into the 21st century.

Wow! What an assortment of finds! We love our XLT !

WOW nice haul for an old machine but those oldies can go pretty long & deep too, don't be getting rid of it because the looks of that haul proves it will be an excellent backup machine

Looks like you found a nice variety of very good items.
Good job with the old detector. Looks like it's still got some life in it.

I would say not bad for A dinosaur! But my keen sense of the obvious, tell`s me you better keep going back for awhile, cause it`s not been goin over too many times! Like you really need me to keep running my big mouth. WTG. Ruck

I Agree, what the hell for ;D The Whites is a good detector, but I wouldn't get rid of your old one. Looks like an excellent back up machine.

The old Compass X-100 may be a dinosaur, but it takes a lick'n and keeps on tick'n. I had it more or less refurbished by Compass about 6 years ago before they quit doing business again. This has been a really tough machine and I'm not about to retire it yet. Truth be told, I sold one of my Harleys I had at the time to get the money to buy it, the X-100 wasn't cheap back then. In fact, I also have another Compass Yukon 77B that is in mint condition that I am holding on to also. I just wanted another toy to play with you might say, and I wanted one of the best that's why I chose the XLT. Different conditions sometimes call for different detectors. I know one thing, I would take the Compass into conditions I wouldn't even think of taking the XLT.

I have spent a lot of time on the x-80/x-100 machines and I'll tell you they are great machines!!! Still to this day I have not found a better pinpointing machine. Great haul. :)

Welcome from across the pond.

Keep up the good work & good luck with the new machine.

Wow. That is some machine. Good Luck with your new XLT.

Great pile of finds! Good luck with the XLT, it is a nice machine, I used one for about 3 years. It is now my backup machine to my Minelab X Terra-70, I'll get it out again soon. HH, Mike
