It's a British ale bottle.

The bottle guys wanna see, properly oriented, natural light photos, that picture the entire bottle, the base, and the lip finish.

Values, or at least asking prices are all over the place. $10 is about right.

Yours appears to have some damage, which would greatly diminish the value.
