I've been out of action for the last 2 hunts with Covid (wasn't that bad), so Cru'dad did 2 short hunts;
First hunt he got a broken hammered Groat of Philip & Mary, which was the last of a long silver streak.
Next hunt he decided to go back over the Copse Field Bird Cover & hit it from a different direction. He only spent 1 & a bit hours but had a couple of scrappies, 2 hob nails, 1 bracelet ring, 1 Celtic Fibula.
Today we hunted together & finished the Copse Field productive area, getting another 4 scrappies & 4 hob nails.
We then went & finished 2 other Bird Covers, completing the day at 3.5 hrs. Only finds of note was a Roman Buckle (type & size I need), & a seed lead bag seal. Plus 18th C Clog Clasp.
