Yesterday i did some door knocking to get on some yards to hit, since i cant field hunt right now because of crops planted. Today i hit a house built in 1894 with a decent sized front yard, but was dissapointed i didnt find any coins dated before 1936. I came up with 1944,1936, and 1950 wheats............and 2 war nickles(44-D & 42-S) in the same hole........and a 41 merc. Toward teh end of my day i scored a really cool 20's-30's good luck token made by the Excelsior Shoe Company, and included with their shoes that they marketed toward the Boy Scouts. Note the swastika on the back of the token, which was considered a symbol of good luck before Adolf Hitler ruined it turned it into a symbol of Nazi hate
