I know im going to catch hell from some people but here it is. I have both detectors. I started out on this hobbie like most did. I was one of the people who bought the 3300 from RS for $90. After useing the 3300 for a year and doing alot of traveling to places that would be good for relic hunting i bought a F75 "the 3300 paid for the f75". For 90% of the detectorest out there it is more than enough machine. Very simple turn on an go. Dont get cought up in all the hype of the thousand doller machines out there. The F75 is very powerfull and sensitive but has a very high learning curve. Not to mention you have several diffrent moes an have to adjust every setting in the modes. The 3300 will out do the F75 in being a simple turn on and go detector. If someone were to ask me today what would be a great out of the box and hunt with no hassle detector. It would be the F2 or F4 hands down.

I'll agree with you. Sometimes simpler is better. In most parks I hunt trash is a real problem and that limits depth. I had an F75 and liked it when it worked but had a lot of problems so I got rid of it. The deepest park coin I found with it was 5" yet I have found a bunch in the same parks with a Tesoro Cortes which is a basic turn on and go machine. I have just ordered a T2 for the deep stuff and hope it is as great as they say. The nice thing about Bounty Hunter is it is affordable and a bunch of people can get into the hobby cheap.

ive had 2 3300's and think they have some nice functions, but the gb is a pain to set at times, and slow audio recovery, one thing that drove me nuts, was hitting a target then disapearing signals, very inconsistant at times and the 199 on iron, i have the t-2 and think it 10x the machine of the 3300, i should add i have some pretty minerilized soil conditions
