Hi Everyone,

I need some help with this one. Can anyone help identify this to make sure I am not mistaken?

Today, I was going through a book back full of loose change collected and began rolling them. You know, pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, etc.

There was a coin that I thought was just a corroded zincoln penny. But, upon looking closer appeared ROMAN. So, my daughter got online and looked up roman coins and found many that are very close but not an exact match from the Constantius II time period of roman coins circa 337 AD.

Here are the pictures of it.

Can anyone help ID this?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

Nice re-find, find! Now you've got us all checking our zincs!

Any idea of the coin's value?

This type is very common, lots of them available. I'm guessing if you found the right US person, they may pay $5. Over here, you would be lucky to get £1 from anyone that knows coins.

Thanks Crusader
