Hi , Thanks for sharing your world . TP

PA sure has a lot of old timey looking parks. Gotta be some treasure in there. Gary

approx. 115 acres

was a farm c1790's

not sure the exact date the original park was put in or the date the farm became part of the park.
but coins do pop up occasionally from the entire period involved.

In the 30's/40's My aunt & Mother used to run the Soda Stand & a Bingo Stand
The Place always had Something Happening There on weekends.

Place sort of Went down Somewhere in the 50's/60's & was only used for Baseball, Fishing, Bow & Gun Club , Family reunions , Birthdays parties
, Religious events and
Parties by Rockers, etc. Oh & Live Pigeon Shoots Till 90's ?

Now all of a Sudden A group have come together to Bring Things Back to the Good old Days feel.

Cleaning things up, adding Picnic areas Having Weekend Band Events Etc.

Great looking spot, Jeff. I hope that it yields some great finds for you. I have a friend who hunts with a crossbow with scope that uses those bolts. He says they travel about as fast as a rifle bullet. “Bow” hunting certainly has evolved over the last ten years or so. Nothing like when I used to hunt (40+ years ago) and fiberglass recurved bows were “high tech”. Ha ha,

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Looks like a very nice spot for metal detecting and just plain enjoying the outdoors...

Talk about making up for lost time. I think i can count on one hand that i remember you swinging in November. Glade to see your still swinging.

yea the Sweet Arrow Lake years May have been the Most Productive Times in Novembers .

Sadly Being I spent over a Year now Where getting out was Impossible, November MAY BE MY Only chance.
Hoping for a few cloudy comfortable days though So I don't need to Hug The shade.

The Triangle In Joliett, And the parks here in town and around are calling, but all are shadeless
