Santa brought my son his first machine which would make him a 3rd generation detectorist if you would. Mother nature finally gave us some nice weather so we could take his Whites Xventure for a test run. His first find was a zinc penny. We were pumped up. He ended up with a quarter, dime and three pennies as far as keepers go. In his mind all of it are keepers. He wants to go back out tomorrow. I was glade to hear that. Proud Daddy. Thanks for looking

Awesome Deal ! Cool You's got out !
It's nice to know even Child Size Detectors can Keep pace With the others.

Thanks for the Phone call earlier, that made my day for sure.
getting very hard, knowing will probably be August, before I risk taking mine out
with out pain or loss of breath.

Hunting with your son...priceless! :occasion14:

I think you will be out before then maybe not for the whole day but you will be swinging. One day/ one swing at a time.

Very cool! Never a better time to learn than now.

Heck yes. Good to see young collectors. He's smart to be taking care of those knees, too. That'll pay off in later years.

Love to see. Nothing is better than spending time with your son. Nice.

Proud Daddy, and a ( clearly) very happy son. Looks like you have a hunting partner for life!

What a great post!
Taking 2 of my 3 boys out today right after church, and hope they have as much fun as your son obviously had! Congrats generation 3 on a job very well done!! And also congrats texjim on raising your son in the great outdoors. You will hopefully have a hunting buddy for life.

Thnaks everyone

Very nice. Enjoy the memories. He will grow up to soon. My daughter was about that age when she started detecting with me. She will be 32 years old tomorrow.
