The Vaquero has been putting me through the paces......teaching me it's distinctive tones and language. I've managed to get about 8 hours of listening and deciphering at 2 "hunted out" sites. It was a struggle learning to ground balance, but after some coaching from brother Soloman and lots of practice, it's become easier. The real shock (after a year with the Compadre) has been digging pull tabs, small buttons, lighter striking wheels and smaller bits (coin sized) of can slaw at 8" on a regular basis.........there's still a lot for me to learn..........

1883 IHP at 7", the '45 Wheat at 6" and that tiny little silver ring at 8"............I'm amazed...........and enthused!!
Thanks for lookin' in and good luck to all on you hunting adventures!!
