Early morning (yesterdays finds I should say) I hit a site that I go too when there is enough moisture in the ground. Thought I had something when I picked the slick up at about 8 inches, but there is no sign of any details, looks like its just a slug. Hit my hillside again, not much left to signal there. .22 short casings about drive me nuts. Did get a couple of wheats including a 1911, and a dateless Buff. Also picked up a roundball, appears about .32. Went to a old foundation out in the woods. Its a iron patch. Second and third targets were 1884 and 1887 IHC. Dr. Sayman's lid was interesting, found this about it: CAROLINABLUELADY Vintage Collectibles: Dr. Sayman and his Traveling Medicine Show Nothing else of interest. Went around the entrance to a cave and picked up a handful of shotshell headstamps. Not a bad day.
