4 hour CW hunt before the rain came

Got up this morning and saw a few hour window before the rain was going to start. So me and Amy went out quickly we found 4 bullets and the bormen Time fuse. After a hour or so, Adam meet us and we where off looking for this camp we have been researching after about a mile walk through the woods and hills we found it. With in 2 minutes had one drop that look to be a bad mold and that's why it was discarded you can see in the picture where the led was missing. Amy dug a nice backpack rivet and Adam got a really nice bottle. Not long after our arrival the sky's turned dark and we took off and just beat the rain. 4 hours of digging and some nice finds.

thats sweet i had no idea about the fuze i looked up the bottle and going through an elimination process on a website it is deemed the bottle was manufactured 1847-1873 so very goo possibility its civil war regardless its going in my collection.

Nice digs and it always amazes me how that CW stuff keeps coming up. Seems like it would all be found by now.

I know since about the mid 50's I've read of thousands of relics being dug and they seem to be increasing today.

I have in my collection a homebrew BFO detector that was made by a relic huner back in 1956.
